This Cookie Policy explains how gamepickdroid.com (the "Site") uses cookies, browser local storage and web-push notifications. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's PIPEDA.

Essential / functional storage

We store your cookie banner choice (accept or decline) in your browser's localStorage under the key gpd_cookie, so we do not ask you again on every visit. This stays on your device and is not sent to us as a tracking identifier.

Analytics (with consent)

With your consent, we may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand which pages are read and how the Site performs. This may set cookies or collect aggregated technical data such as browser type and pages viewed.

Web-push notifications (OneSignal)

If you opt in to notifications, we use OneSignal as our service provider to deliver web-push alerts. OneSignal sets its own cookies / storage and registers a service worker (OneSignalSDKWorker.js) in your browser, and processes a device/browser push identifier together with your email address and subscription tags (domain, name, phone, source). 3. Cookies set by third parties

Some cookies or storage are set by third parties such as OneSignal (notifications) and our analytics or hosting providers. We do not control third-party cookies; please review those providers' own policies.

4. How to control cookies and notifications

  • Cookie banner: choose "Decline" to signal that you do not want non-essential cookies. You can clear localStorage in your browser to reset your choice.
  • Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking essential storage may affect how the Site works.
  • Web-push: you can turn off notifications at any time in your browser's site settings, or unsubscribe from within the notification prompt.
